WILLIMAE DUBRAY
JOHNSON - Willimae Dubray was born in St. Albans in 1924, the daughter of Dominick and Melvina Emery Cusson. In 1943, she married Roger Dubray. They raised five children. They spent most of their married life in Johnson and North Hyde Park. In 1966, Willimae and her sister-inlaw opened the Big Loaf Bakery in Hyde Park. She worked there for over 20 years, making her famous doughnuts, a recipe now enjoyed by her family. Willimae was predeceased by her husband in 1990. She has spent the last 20 years in Fairfax, with her daughter and son-in-law. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Edward, Alcid, Anthony, and Peter; and her sisters, Christine, Grace, Angeline and Ester. She leaves her five children, Napolean and fiancée, Peg, of Milton, Jane and Robert Fisher of Fairfax, Connie and Tom Brooks of Woodbury, Mary and Jim Barrett of Jericho, and Rose and Brian Cubit of Essex. She also leaves her ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her sister-inlaw, Dorothy Cusson of Grandville, Mass.; and a special friend, Doris Millard. The family will receive friends Wednesday May 19 at the des Groseilliers Funeral Home Main St. Johnson, from 5 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday May 20 10 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Church in Johnson. Interment will be in Lamoille View Cemetery, Johnson. Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
