The Wesford school budget was approved, rejected and on the third try Tuesday rejected again.
The tally was 359-353 against the $5.2 million, level- funded spending proposal.
“We recounted it to verify the numbers,” Town Clerk Nanette Rogers said.
The first school-budget proposal narrowly passed on Town Meeting Day, but a petition forced a re-vote on the $5,268,238 spending plan, which was defeated, 403-283.
