Pies!!

The Fairfax-Fletcher-Westford Band

Al Daniels dishing up some ice cream

Margie Cain and Bob Bessette dishing up some pie.

Some of the crowd enjoying their pie and ice cream.

Others were upstairs listening to the bands.

Paul Lavallee served drinks.

For the second year in a row, the Annual Pie and Ice Cream Social was held inside, after rain moved in during the late afternoon hours. The crowd was down a bit, probably due to the weather.
But a good time was had by all. The pie and ice cream was great, and the band sounded fantastic.

Thank you so much to:
The Fairfax United Church and Pastor Liz for letting us use the building.
Wayne and Sally Sweet for putting the sign out front and entrusting me with a key to the building.
The Fairfax-Fletcher-Westford Band for putting on a fantastic performance.
Bob and Kathy Bessette, Margie Cain, and Chris Bessette for serving pie.
Al Daniels for serving ice cream.
Paul Lavallee for serving drinks.
Elaine Kirkpatrick and Sally Sweet for being the cashiers.
Barb Duvall for selling t-shirts.
Jeff Minor and Minor's Country Store for helping supply us with ice cream.
Thank you to everyone who made pie. Homemade pie is what draws people in.
Those who helped set up, and those who helped tear down.
And mostly, Thank You to everyone who came. From what I could see, you had a pretty good time. You had something to eat, listened to the band, and gathered and visited with friends. People hung around and visited long after the band concert was over. That's what the evening is all about. Having a social.
See you next year!!!
