Our rain gage @ the Bellows Farm measured TWO & three tenths of an inch last night! so much for my homemade meat-birds chicken kennel.  Got some repairs to do.

We only registered 1.52" here on Buck Hollow.   I checked the station at the beginning of the rain event and noticed that it wasn't recording the rainfall.  I NEED to get up on the roof and change the darn battery.   Sounds like I missed the first inch or so....

Hey Julie and Dave,

Sounds like your Davis Station is doing OK. We changed the lithium battery on ours here at the fire station this year.

As of midnite last night recorded 1.54 inches, rain rate was 5.33 inches/hour.

Sounds like you're in the ballpark with that reading.

Steve,
Have you ever thought about putting your station on-line?

THE CROPS ARE SAVED!

Wish we had more rain here.........

That online weather station stuff is tricky.
Tricky but neat, for us weather nerds.
