Prescription pads taken in theft at doctors' office

Vermont State Police (VSP) is investigating a burglary at Fairfax Associates in Medicine that occurred Monday.

During the early morning hours, someone forced entry through an unsecured side window and stole blank prescription pads.

Drs. Audrey Von Lepel and Teig Marco share the office, located at 1199 Main St. in Fairfax. There have been no arrests yet.

"We have some information that we're following up on," said VSP Tpr. Matthew Hill.

Hill is asking people to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity near their homes and businesses, such as strangers knocking on doors, people driving by slowly, and cars moving with their lights off at night.
