Picture of the Day

I was coming back from Minor's Store when I noticed baseball practice going on. I went over and spoke to one of the parents, and it's 11/12 year old Fall Little League Baseball. They play a doubleheader on the weekends. More and more, we find that if a kid is good in a sport, there are efforts to have that sport played year round. Soccer is played during the winter in old hockey rinks. Basketball is year round. There is a summer hockey program in Vermont. And now baseball goes as long as the weather holds. Football has only one season, but conditioning is year round.
