LOCATION: I-89 North at MM 90/35 - Winooski
INJURIES: Multiple/Non-life threatening

ROAD COND: Clear and Dry
 
SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 09-10-10 at 1331 hours Vermont State Police - Williston dispatch was advised of a multi-vehicle collision on I-89 North adjacent to Exit 15 in the City of Winooski.  Members of the Vermont State Police, as well as representative of the Winooski Fire Department, Colchester Rescue and St. Michael's Rescue, responded to the scene. 
 
Investigation revealed a five (5) vehicle collision and a separate three (3) vehicle collision occurred on I-89 North at MM 90/35.  One operator from each of the collisions was transported to Fletcher Allen for non-life threatening injuries. 

Three vehicles had to be removed from the scene and I-89 North was limited to one lane for approximately one hour. 
The cause of these collision are still under investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Police barracks in Williston.
