For those of you who may not be aware of it, John & Juanita Shedd used to own the first farm on the right as you go on Route 104A.  Prior to John & Juanita living there, John's parents lived there.

A large part of Fairfax's friendliness and BFA's past has passed on with Juanita's demise and John's passing during the last year.  A hard working family , all the way from John & Juanita to their son, Jay and all the other children in between , all of whom have remained loyal to their parents, their school and their town. When we arrived in town in the Fall of 1962, Juanita send some baked goodies to our family , John helped us get acquainted with townspeople, and Rod & David made it easy to coach basketball with their willingness to operate under team rules. Hard to forget how good that family was to us, and I will always be grateful for their friendship.
