Top 5 accomplishments: Attended Champlain College Young Writers' Conference in 2009 and 2010; published in school's literary magazine, Genesis; inducted into National Honor Society junior year; and valedictorian of class.

In the community: Helped feed firefighters at Steeple Market fire, American Red Cross Blood Drive; edits papers and essays for classmates.

Favorite spare time activity: Writing and reading.
