Fairfax, Everett R. King, 90 of Main Street passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, November 7, 2010.
Mr. King was born July 24, 1920 in St. Albans the son of the late Andrew and Cecile Reynolds King. He graduated from BFA Fairfax with the Class of 1938. On June 18,1943 he married Barbara Booth while stationed with the US Army Air Force in Bellville, IL. Everett and Barbara moved back to Fairfax in 1946 where they began raising their family.
Everett owned and operated a Dairy Farm in Fairfax for over 30 years. Following this he was employed by the St. Albans Co-op, driving their farm supply truck. A man with a strong work ethic, Everett went on to become the Maintenance Supervisor at Redstone Villa Nursing Home in St. Albans, a position the he held for 15 years prior to retiring at the age of 72.
Following 56 years of marriage, he was predeceased by his wife, Barbara on June 25, 1999.
Mr. King is survived by his children; Randall King Sr. and his wife, Beulah of Brooklyn, CT, Wayne King and his wife Donna of Fairfax, Brian King and his wife Lorraine of Fairfax and Sharon Tinker and her husband, Gary of Fletcher. His grandchildren; Randall King Jr., Michael King and his wife, Heather; Angela King Hussey and husband Scott, Andrew King and wife Sarah, Matthew King and wife, Michelle, Daniel King and wife, Chassidy, Melissa King Minor and husband, Adam, Jason Tinker and wife Jennifer, Jeffrey Tinker, Jeremy Tinker and wife Aimee. His Great Grandchildren; Joshua King, Amanda, Jordan and Ciara King, Gregory and Patrick Hussey, Peter and Benjamin King, Tyler King, Brianna and Carter King, Javin Shepard, Makayla and Makenna Minor, Lydia and Heidi Tinker, Owen Davis-Tinker and Jack and Eli Tinker. His brother; Albert King and his wife. Rita of Lirtleton, NH and their families. He leaves also his good friends, Nelda Miller and Larry Larrow.
As per Mr. King's wishes, Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
