Somewhere I have read that there is a place that can make good use of Old Prescription Eye Glasses.  I have about 5 or 6 pair of them from Maryann and I know I have some of my own.  Don't just want to throw them out if there is some place that can make good use of them.

Hi Henry,
The Lions Clubs usually have collection boxes out for gathering used glasses & frames. Maybe someone on this forum would know where there might be one in the Fairfax/St. Albans area.  I have seen them at the Essex Free library in Essex Ctr. & at my optician in Essex Jct.

Thanks, Mary Kay was going to check with her eye doctor also - I found 5 pair of Maryann's so far and think there are some more elsewhere, plus I know I have quite a few pair.  This is one of those things that I remember hearing about, but never paid any attention to at the time.

I spoke to Lens Crafters where I go for my eye care and they said bring them in as they have a drop off there.  I have to go to the mall this weekend Dad, so I can bring them with me!

The eye Dr. in the new health clinic building on Rte 7 in Georgia  took them at one time.
Maybe worth a phone call and post, for those who can't get out of town.
The Drs name started w/ a M     I believe.
