Silent Auction Saturday At BFA - 10 a.m. To 2 p.m.

On Saturday, November 20th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, we will open the space for community members to purchase remaining equipment and supplies which cannot be used to support the functioning of the school.  We will use a silent auction format.  Winning bids will be notified the following week and will need to make arrangements to pay for and pick up their equipment and supplies by November 27th.

Well, I saw Gary Stewart yesterday and he wanted me to take some photos to get a little publicity out for our local people to have an opportunity to pick up some of this equipment.  Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me, so made a special trip down this morning to see if I could get some.

Unfortunately, I was not allowed in to do this.  The person I talked with over the intercom told me that the person setting it up was under a lot of stress to get everything done and had just gone to lunch.

Oh Well!!  I tried.

Bummer!  Good Try Dad.  I see it is tomorrow that the Auction actually is, which works better than today as we had thought.

Henry sorry to  hear this happened.  I was at an important Dr appointment for my wife today.  I would have loved to have taken you on a tour.  Hope community members can find good uses for what is left tomorrow.

Thanks, I didn't think there would be a problem as Gary was really excited about taking me over yesterday if I had had my camera to get some photos in hopes our local people would be able to purchase some of this stuff.

Next time I will call ahead.

I'm a dummy.
I walked around and saw some of the stuff laid out and never thought, Hey! I should take a couple of pictures. I am planning to go to the Craft Fair and the Silent Auction Saturday, so I WILL take my camera. You can come down and take pictures, too, Henry. Between the both of us, the place will be covered.

I can give you an idea of what's there. New Briggs and Stratton motors, old motors as well. Band saws, table top and floor models. A stand up air compressor. Model airplane kits. Tool sets. Screw guns. Belt sanders, hand held and floor model. Desks, work tables, drafting desk, and more.

Thanks for the list Mike Cain - Even though I don't have any photos before the Auction, you have at least given everyone an idea what is there.
