The wind is apparently blowing on Tabor Hill Road like it is here as the Fire Department just got a call for a tree on the power line.

The road is completely blocked - Don Pigeon is on his way with the back hoe.  The power company has been contacted.

Henry           I'll worry now about Don & his backhoe working on a tree lying across a power line , even though I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Will be glad to hear when the job is done !!!

I thought the same thing Dick, but also know that our Fire Department and Road Crew are pretty cautious and will not put themselves in danger.  I am sure that Justin Hayes will probably fill us in later when he gets on the forum.

Henry and Dick,

Have no fear.  The road crew was not called for assistance until we were able to confirm that the lines the tree was resting on were strictly communications lines.  NO power lines were involved in this incident.  Donald was able to remove the tree without any damage to the lines.
