A motorist having a diabetic reaction at about 7 a.m. Monday on Interstate 89 in Colchester swerved from lane to lane and failed to stop for police, Vermont State Trooper Garry Scott said.
Vermont State Police had received several 911 calls of a vehicle traveling south on the highway and "being all over the road," Scott said. State police and Williston police blocked the vehicle as the motorist tried to leave the highway at exit 12 in Williston.
The 60-year old motorist from Fairfax, whose name police withheld, was transported to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
