Marie P. (Rainville) LangelierFairfax - Marie Paule (Rainville) Langelier, 81, passed away on Tuesday November 30, 2010 at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. Marie was born on October 7, 1929 in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec daughter of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Bernard) Rainville. She married Yvan Langelier on October 27, 1951 in Fairfax, VT. She was truly loved by her family and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Yvan Langelier, of Fairfax; Her son Paul Langelier and wife Karen of Fairfax; Six grandchildren: Joshua and wife Jennifer; Kaitlin; Jacob; Benjamin; Joseph and Luke.
Five brothers: Laurent Rainville and wife Lillian of North Hero; Jean Louis Rainville and wife Cecile of Fairfax; Paul Rainville and wife Lillian of St. Albans; Jean Guy Rainville and wife Fernande of Fairfax; Gilles Rainville and wife Claudette of Fairfax
Three sisters: Fernande Tougas of Swanton; Imelda Tougas and husband John of Swanton; Therese Paquette of Richmond and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her brothers Gaston, Robert, Bernard and Herve Rainville and her sisters Madeleine and Noella.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Fairfax with Reverend Julian Asucan officiating. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Marie’s memory can be made to St. Anne’s Shrine, 92 St. Anne’s Road, P.O.
