Yvette E. Dupuis - St. Albans
1911-2006


Mrs. Yvette E. Duchesneau Dupuis, age 94, died Sunday evening, September 24, 2006, in the Franklin County Rehab Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in St. Albans December 2, 1911 daughter of the late Edouard and Della (Maynard) Duchesneau. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Franklin County Senior Citizens. She was a very active of the former Holy Angels Motherƒx s Club. She was employed by Fonda Container Corp. and later at Union Carbide Consumer Products for many years. She was an Avon Representative for several years.

June 26, 1952 she married Emile Dupuis who predeceased her in June of 1976.

She is survived by her two sons and their spouses Richard and Yolande Hartmann and Robert and Susan Hartxmann all of Swanton, three step-children and their spouses Maurice and Donna Dupuis and Jacqueline and John Sharrow all of Waupaca, Wisconsin, Evelyn and Guy Marcoux of Prospect, CT., four grandchildren and thier spouses Kelly and Glen Duprey of Highgate, their children Justin and Katie Rushlow of Swanton, Kaitlyn and Christopher Duprey of Highgate, Greg and Helen Hartmann, their children Allie, Anna and Anissa Hartmann all of Fairfax, Jeff and Julie Hartrnann and their children Brooks, Erica and John all of Swanton, Jim and Carmen Hartmann and their children Michael and Joseph all of Swanton, a step daughter-in-law Eleanor Maynard of St. Albans, a sister-in¡Xlaw Alice Duchesneau of St. Albans, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents Edouard and Della and her husband Emile she was predeceased by her step-son John Dupuis, step-granddaughter Camilla Coleman, sisters Orette Mayo, Rita Mayo, brothers Henry, Norbert, Normand and Lionel Duchesneau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 A. M. in Holy Angels Church. There will be no public calling hours at her request. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Anne's Shrine, P. 0. Box 280, Isle LaMotte, Vt. 05463 or Franklin County Home Health, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, Vt. 05478. ST. ALBANS - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Mrs. Yvette J. Dupuis on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Church with Father Maurice Roy celebrating. Assisting Father Roy at the altar were Maynard Gosselin and Russell Porwitzky. The organist and soloist was Mary Jo Gillilan.

The Crucifix was placed on the casket by Yvette’s daughter-in-laws, Yolande and Susan Hartmann. Readings from Scripture were read by Julie and Carmen Hartmann. Offertory gifts were presented by Allie, Anna, Alissa Hartmann, and Kaitlyn Duprey, all great-granddaughters. An honor guard was present from the Ladies of St. Anne, with Rosalie Jacques presenting the Prayers for the Departed Members of the Ladies of St. Anne.

Interment followed in the family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers were grandsons Greg, Jeff, and Jim Hartmann; and great-grandsons, Justin Rushlow, Brooks, and Michael Hartmann.

Delegations in attendance were from Franklin County Rehab Center, Holiday House Nursing Facility, North Elm Street neighbors, Heritage Lane Neighbors, Rachel’s Styling Center, and Total Yard Care.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home and Commemorative Services.
