Got back from Burlington a short while ago.  It was just beginning to snow down there and I notice up here on the Fletcher Road that is is beginning to come down pretty good.

Hasn't stopped the crows from pecking away at my trash though.

Mary Kay brought me down to Dr. Tarvers.  I will have to take it easy the rest of the day with no driving the car.  I can get another steroid shot in 3 months if necessary.

Looks like it's going to be a good day to stay home, anyway. Stay well!

Just heard from my sister in Southern VT and they already have a foot of snow!  It's a good day to live up north for sure!  Over 753 schools closed in MA too.  I here CT is also similar to MA as well.  Many of my coworkers are working remotely today from their homes.

Here along the NH Seacoast and southern Maine we have been getting heavy wet snow with 25 - 35 mph winds since 3 or 4 AM. Hard to tell how exactly how much so far, but would guess we are closing in on a foot with several hours of storm left to go. Apparently the forecasters got this storm right (1 out of 10 isn't bad, I guess).

My daughter works for a private college in Brookline, MA and they closed the offices down first thing this morning (majority of the students aren't due back until this weekend).  Then around 10a she called and told me the power had gone out around 9a because of the heavy wet snow on the lines.  She was going to go into Boston on the tram, but doesn't know if they can run with the power out.  Guess she'll have to entertain herself some other way.
