PRESS RELEASE
St. Albans Police Department

On February 15, 2011 at approximately 1:50 p.m. two males in a small, white pick-up truck were involved in an incident where the male passenger in the truck grabbed a fifteen (15) year old female from behind and attempted to pull her into the truck. The vehicle is described as:  White, mid-sized pick-up truck with either a small extended cab or club cab. Vehicle is similar to a small S-10 type of truck, but exact make is unknown. The right front hub cap is cracked.

The two males are white, possibly in their 30's. The male who grabbed the victim has a goatee and is described as having dark colored hair....a moustache, dirty hands and possibly auto-mechanic type grease under the fingernails on the right hand. The male smelled like auto oil and grease. He was wearing an orange winter jacket (possibly Columbia) with an attached hood, which was up on the suspects head. The male who grabbed the female victim did not exit the truck. He grabbed her from behind, through the trucks open window. He said "are you cold like me" or words to that effect and tried to hold onto her. A brief struggle ensued and the female victim broke free of the suspects clutch. She immediately ran home and informed her mother.

The St. Albans Police Department is seeking assistance from the public. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call police @ 524-2166.
