JOHN JANESIK SR.
GEORGIA - John Janesik Sr., 94, died peacefully Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in St. Albans Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans. John was born April 1, 1916 in Saranac Lake, N.Y., the son of the late Max and Mary Barkovsky Janesik. He worked for over 50 years in the jewelry field of "Lost Wax" Investment Casting. He was married to the former Leonarda Gajewski. John served his country during WWII with the US Army. John is survived by his son, John Janesik Jr. and his wife, VanLee of Georgia; his grandchildren, Jinny Janesik of Bristol, John John Janesik of St. Albans, and Michael A. Janesik of Georgia; and his great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Max, and Midori. There will not be a local funeral service, however burial will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, N.Y.
