Edward Allen Whitney Jr
Nov 23, 1964 - March 17, 2011 Georgia - Edward Allen Whitney Jr., 46, died unexpectedly due to Cardiovascular Disease at his home in Georgia, on Thursday March 17,2011.
Ed was born in Burlington on November 23, 1964, the son of Edward and Joyce (Pidgeon) Whitney. On July 21, 1996, Ed married Penny Thayer in Fletcher. He graduated from Milton High School in 1982. Ed was self employed for many years as an electrician.
In addition to his wife Penny, Ed is survived by his chidren April Makorova of Cambridge, Kevin Hampsey of Burlington, and Page Teator Whitney of Milton, by 5 grandchildren, by his parents Ed and Joyce Whitney of Milton and Ft. Myers, FL, his sisters Tanya Swenson and her husband Major Richard Swenson of Bear, Delaware; Kelly Hanley and her husband Raymond of New Port Richey, FL.; his sister-in-law Carla Whitney of Milton and by many nieces and nephews.
Ed was predeceased by his brother Todd in 2009.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11 am in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
Burial will be in the family lot in the Milton Village Cemetery in the spring.
