There have been some big changes brewing over in Milton with a big expansion to The Hannaford Shopping Center. Hannaford's Store in Milton has really been inadequate, at least when I went there as they did not carry a very large & varied inventory. Well, some of my Milton Friends told me, "Don't worry Henry, we have got a big Hannaford's coming."
Well, anyhow the whole plan went kaput when the economy did. Originally Minor's Funeral Home was going to be moved up the road a piece and was going to give them more room for the big shopping center.
I didn't realize it, but according to last night's news, Milton is the 8th largest community in Vermont, if I understood right. Anyhow, Minors Funeral is staying and the sign off by the DRB is coming up in April. Check out the following link which also includes a video:
