Pearl A. Hendee

St. Albans - Mrs. Pearl A. Hendee, age 86, died early Thursday morning, March 31, 2011, in the St. Albans Health Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in St. Albans November 2, 1924 daughter of the late Rolla and Lillian (Legnard) Bevins.   She was a lifelong communicant of Holy Angels Church, having her own special pew and sang with the choir.

May 26, 1943 she married John W. Hendee.  Mr. Hendee died January 17, 1993.

She is survived by her four daughters Rose Busier of East Windsor, CT, Mary and James Mossey of Georgia, Lorraine and Louis Robtoy of St. Albans, Linda and David Fournier of Essex, 2 sons John  Hendee of Sweet Home, Oregon, Steven and Sherry Hendee of Fletcher, 2 sisters-in-law Yvonne Bevins of Sheldon and Barbara Bevins of CT, 18 grandchildren 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband John, son David, sister May Wagner, brothers Winifred “Bim” Bevins, Ernest, Arnold and George Bevins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 A. M. in Holy Angels Church.  Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St. from 6 to 9 P.M. Monday.  Interment will be with John in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made by:  www.bradyandlevesque.com. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home and Commemorative Services.
