Nice Today - Rain Saturday

The weather will be a whole lot better today than it was yesterday. No snow, no chill, no wind today - just lots of sunshine, warmer temperatures and a light south wind. Highs will get back into the 50s, which is normal for this time of year.

But it all goes downhill again for the start of the weekend. Rain moves in for Saturday, and it may begin with a bit of a wintry mix in the early morning hours east of the Green Mountains and also in the Adirondacks. The rain will be steady in the morning hours, but tapering to on-and-off showers in the afternoon and evening. It will be windy again for the first part of the day, with south winds of 15 to 25 mph and higher gusts.

Everything settles down again for Easter Sunday with sunshine and seasonable temperatures.

A period of unsettled weather begins Monday and lasts through mid-week. There is a chance for showers each day. But it will be warmer, with highs getting into the 60s, even some low 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
