Fairfax is having company this summer!

For the first time, BFA Fairfax and the community will be hosting 30 students and 2 teachers from China.  They will spend two weeks here, attending classes with  BFA students, and participating in a variety of activities in the afternoon.  We are hoping to host some events for both  the students  and the community 

We need host families!  If you would be able to host two students while they are here--from Sunday July 17- Friday, July 29, please contact me via email or phone. (849 6588) There is an application to complete (for information purposes only) and host families will receive a stipend of $200 per student. 

Host families  do not have to be parents of BFA students to welcome the students into their homes.

This, folks, is the opportunity of a lifetime.  A chance to introduce Chinese students to American culture and the best of Vermont.  Not too late to contact me.

All  right.  I am beginning to feel desperate; heart pounding; anxiety level rising; beads of perspiration gathering.

 We need 9 more families to host these young people.  They will be in activities all day; transportation is available; they are eager to learn about America and improve their spoken English; you will receive a stipend!

They arrive the 17th, leave the 29th.  There will be an orientation meeting, and a welcoming and departing gathering....
