Congratulations - I started watching it on the Internet, but something happened and it automatically switched to some girl's game, so gave up and watched the 10 pm Fox News which had nothing.  Was happy to hear on Channel 3 News that they won - Great Team, Great Victory.

Congratulations Boys!!!!!
What a great game to be there to witness first hand.  Robbie Rinaldo pitched his heart and soul out 122 times up on the mound with some very nice defensive plays by his teammates under the lights in Montpelier!!!!
Great article in the Burlington Free Press, can't wait to see the write up in the Messanger today.
Enjoy the victory guys, you deserve it.

The Messenger most likely will not have a write-up until Monday's Edition as the weekend Edition was delivered last night around 8 p.m. before the game was played.

I also congratulate this year's Div III Champions , and know that the town & school must be very proud of the team and players . If my memory serves me correctly , BFA won State Baseball Championships in 1958 , 1979 , 1987 and this year . I think I'm missing some years but can't remember which ones. What teams did I miss , anyone  ???

1958, 1978, 1987, 2004, 2011,

I need to look at the rosters. Roger Geno was '58, son Derek was '87. Dick Stewart was '58, nephew Craig Stewart was '78.
Chuck Machia was assistant coach in '78, son Zach Machia was '11.

I will do some more digging.

My boyfriend was on the 2004 team when they won and it wasn't against Northfield.  It was Williamstown.
