This is my first year of going to the Pie & Ice Cream Social and not working at it - I now know why so many people enjoy it. I got a chance to visit with some folks and made an absolute pig of myself with some absolutely delicious Apple Pie, Topped off with some ice cream of course.
The band shown above was fantastic with its members from the very young (A little guy was playing the trombone and it was hitting the ground as he played - I understand he did a solo before we arrived, but don't know his name) to the much older. Very enjoyable to listen to, yet not too loud so you can still visit.

Kathy Bessette is cutting into the pie that I had two pieces of - Absolutely delicious, especially when topped off with some ice cream.
Got a chance to visit with JoAnne and am very happy she sent some photos as I did not attempt to take any tonight.
