Bill & Dot Meisenzahl have sold their home up on The McNall Road and will be moving to an elderly housing complex in Williston where they will be near their son Brian and his wife.  Bill & Dot have lived in town a number of years and live in a converted barn which made them a nice home.  Their three children grew up here in Fairfax and all graduated from BFA.  Bill & Dot are living temporarily in St. Albans and expect to move into their new home shortly as their name is at the top of the list for the next opening.

Meisenzahl's are very special family to me.  I wish Dot and Bill nothing but the best in their new home and glad they will be close to Brian, Sarah, and their grandson Charlie.  I have so many memories at their house growing up. You were always welcomed with hugs, kisses, and smiles; truly the kindest people you will ever meet.

Bill & Dot were great neighbors!! I helped him a couple times with his electrical problems. He in turn helped me with my front walkway. I did't expect anything in return but he insisted to help. would not take no for an answer. Very hard worker!! They  both will be missed in this neighborhood!!

I remember quite a few years ago that Bill Meisenzahl was working on George Stewart's chimney on the roof, which is the house on Route 128 across from the Milton/Westford Road when a truck coming down the Milton/Westford Road lost its brakes and ran into the house.  Bill did not get hurt, but I understand had a few tense moments as he saw the truck coming at the house.  Since then they have put up a board fence in front of the house, but doubt that would hold back a big truck.  That particular house and the one at the foot of Mill Hill are two houses I would not feel comfortable sitting in front of or even in, due to the possibility of cars or trucks failing to turn or realizing they were coming to a T intersection.

St. Luke's will be having a little get-together after the 11 a.m. Mass today around noon to say goodbye to Bill & Dot - Anyone who would like to drop by and wish them well in their new home should feel free to stop by.  I am sure they would be glad to see you.
