Fox News Reports and has photos of the Crane tipping over and going through the roof of The Georgia Market:

Mary Kay just called me as she was going to stop there, but unable to go in because of the accident.  When you click on the link above, you can see the photos by clicking on the + sign on the photos.

Georgia Market's owner told Fox 44's Nick Natario the store will be closed for the next couple days.

I believe MOST people go for the lowest price.  I don't have all the details, so I won't be quick to judge about the crane company/operater's qualifications/quality.  This could have just as easily been a matter of mechanical failure of the equipment.

I agree Cedarman.

Geez, rough crowd.... I feel bad for Ray. I wish him nothing but the best results from this accident.

I am speaking from past experience, cedarman.......in all accounts.....plus I hire crane services regularly and never once have I ever come close to having an incident like this occur..........you get what you pay for in any business........cannot remember the last time I ever heard of an accident like this in our area however.

I went over when I went to the Genesis Fitness and tried to stop on the side of the road to see what was going on.  I could see that the beam has been removed and I saw some news media there, but a guy came along and told me to move on.  I would have had to walk too far to park my car and come back with my camera, so will look for it tonight on the news.  Chris Santee has been talking with Ray Bouffard and hopefully will be open for business quicker than expected.

That is some scary stuff.

Someone over sold their craning limits.

No one was hurt and someone has to make an insurance claim.
