R.E.A.D starts next Thursday at the Library!
Would your child like to read to a dog, build self-confidence in his or her reading, make a new animal friend?

The R.E.A.D (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) provides children with an opportunity to read to a trained therapy dog, and make a good friend in the process! Dogs provide a non-judgmental listener which helps build confidence in reading.

JR, a nationally certified and trained Therapy Dog and his human trainer, Nancy, are volunteering at the library during after school hours every other Thursday. JR is a gorgeous furry Newfoundland who is loving and gentle! And you can't help but love him back.

Call or message us to find out more or sign up.  This program is best suited to ages 5 - 9.
