For those of you who do not have access to Facebook - Mike Cain posted the following:

"Well farglesnot. I lost the battle. Had my first hour of dialysis today. I am at Fletcher Allen for the night because my hemoglobin is 5.4. Supposed to be 10 or 12. Somehow I have lost half my blood. A couple of units of blood as they keep an eye on me. More dialysis tomorrow and hopefully go home. Pucker brush."

We are rooting for you Mike - I am not too tech savvy with whether or not you can post on the forum with you portable equipment, but thought it would be good for your Fairfax Friends to know how you are doing.

Good thoughts and well wishes that you are feeling better soon Mike. Dialysis is very draining on a body, get lots of rest and have faith that it will make you feel a lot better soon.

Oh Mike, I'm sorry you are going through this. It's never fun to be in the hospital or have a medical condition that requires hospital. BUT.....keep your chin up, you have a lot of friends who are praying for you and thinking of you. If you need anything other than a million dollars.....let us know. REALLY....Let us know!

Mike just posted the following on Facebook:

"Well, flying fukkin farglesnot. I am still bleeding in my kidneys. They want to remove them. This is almost a life or death deal. In the long haul it will be best for a kidney transplant. I am on dialysis anyway. Don't understand why this is happening to me. Guess I will be out of action for a month."

Henry, would Mike want visitors at the hospital? Ask him if he would like anything like a special CD to listen to his favorite music, or a Teddy bear to keep him company.......Fairfax friends....I think he needs some get well cards.
