VERMONT STATE POLICE PRESS RELEASE

INCIDENT: Burglary/Possession of Stolen Property
CASE #: 12A301677

DATE/TIME:  Between the hours of 1800 on 04/20/12 and 0730 hours on 04/24/12.
LOCATION (specific): 561 Gilbert Road, Williamstown, VT
VIOLATION: T 13 VSA 1201 and 2561

ACCUSED: Ryan C Tomasi
AGE: 18
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Barre, VT

VICTIM: Antonio Archilla
AGE: 72
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Williamstown, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 04/23/12 at approximately 0628 hours,  the Vermont State Police in Middlesex received a call from a resident on Erskine Road in Williamstown, who reported a suspicious male walking in the middle of Erskine Road. 
Troopers responded and identified a male who matched the complainant's description.  The male was identified as Ryan C Tomasi.  Tomasi possessed miscellaneous items on him.  Tomasi would not advise where the items were obtained.
Further investigation of the area determined that vehicles had been entered and gone through during the night.

On 04/24/12 at approximately 0924 hours, the Vermont State Police in Middlesex received a call from Antonio Archilla.  Archilla, a resident of Williamstown, reported to police that someone had entered his home and stole electronics.  The items Archilla reported stolen were the same discovered on Tomasi on 04/23/12.

Tomasi was taken into custody on 04/24/12 and charged with burglary and possession of stolen property.
