Historically, at least in the short amount of time I've been paying attention, oil prices tend to dip when a presidential election nears. If I remember correctly Henry, you pre-purchased around this time of year back in 2008 and then the prices dropped significantly. Of course, I understand the benefit and peace of mind of being able to know exactly what you'll need to spend. I remember reading a quote a long time ago that said something like "never prepay for fuel in an election year". Now granted, I don't actually expect it to dip much lower than it already is, I'm just adding my 2 cents
