ISABEL JEAN (LARCHE) BOUTIN

Fairfax - Isabel Jean (Larche) Boutin, 83 passed away at her home in Fairfax on Wednesday September 5, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Isabel was born on February 27, 1929 in Malone, NY daughter of the late Damase and Florentine (Bashaw) Larche. Isabel was a graduate of Franklin Academy, NY class of 1947.

Isabel was a long time active resident of the Fairfax community where her and husband Donald raised their 11 children and ran a local business. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends and community members this includes everyone who called her “Mother B.”

She is survived by: Her four sons: Kenneth Boutin and wife Melanie of Georgia; John Boutin and wife Marivic of VA; Neal Boutin and wife Cathy of FL; Alan Boutin of Fairfax; Six daughters: Lorraine Garland of TX; Joan Sparks and husband Robert of Fairfax; Pauline Boutin of Fairfax; Pamela Vecchitto and husband Bill of Williston; Patricia Merritt and husband Wade of Fairfax; Mary Combs and husband Orval of Fairfield; A daughter-in-law Donna Boutin of Fairfax; 29 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
 
Isabel was also predeceased by her husband Donald; her son Robert; two sons-in-law Michael Garland and Steven Ross, granddaughter Christy; grandson-in-law Robert Perry, her brother Paul and her sister Alice Traynor.
 
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday September 9, 2012 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church with Reverend John G. Feltz officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Luke Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Fairfax Rescue Squad, Inc. P.O. Box 228, Fairfax, VT 05454.
