According to the Fairfax Emergency Weather Station at the firehouse, winds at present are around 24MPH with a gust up to 36MPH a while back.  Along with this we are supposed to head into some frigid weather tomorrow until about next Wednesday.

It's  41 degrees here right now and I think we are going to be starting my car up today, which hasn't been started since before Thanksgiving.  My Gas Card hasn't been used since last October as Mary Kay has been driving me around.

Hopefully we won't have a lot of freeze-ups over the next few days.

I saw one of the wind towers get hit by lightning this morning. Looks like no damage it is still spinning. Must be well grounded.

One of the old sayings is, "Thunder in January, High water in May."
