VT 108 THROUGH THE NOTCH IS CLOSED DUE TO A TT UNIT GETTING STUCK IN THE ROCKS – VERMONT STATE POLICE WILL ADVISE AS SOON AS IT BECOMES OPEN

This isnt the first time nor will it be the last I'm sure.  Saw this same thing a few summers ago first hand.  At that time they needed a crane brought in I believe

If they post a sign that there is a $5,000.00 fine if they get stuck above and beyond the cost of removal perhaps it would make them think twice. I did say the key word "perhaps"!

Not sure of the details on this particular incident, but most of the time when a truck or bus gets stuck up in the Notch, it's usually an out of state driver simply following his GPS directions.
