To Whom It May Concern:
On behalf of the Fairfax Town Recreational Department, I am requesting your support of a local memorial fundraiser. As many of us know, Fairfax lost a tremendous man and supporter of BFA-Fairfax and the Town of Fairfax. Douglas Stewart volunteered a great deal of his time working on improving the Community Trails, supporting BFA athletics, and anything he was asked. Doug was instrumental in his support of BFA football along with assisting with the installation of the multi-use scoreboard at the Recreational Park this past summer. Douglas proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the U.S. Air Force. During his 23 years with the Air Force he was stationed around the world from Bermuda to Japan and across the U.S.A. from New Hampshire to California
As a way to honor Doug, we are asking for your support of a memorial flag pole that will be installed in the middle of the cul-vu-sac at the Rec Park in Doug’s memory. All memorial contributions may be made payable to the Fairfax Town Recreational Department and mailed to:
Karen McNall
151 McNall Road
Fairfax, VT 05454
We hope to have this project completed this summer. Thank you for your support of this memorial project. If you have any questions, please contact me at 802-338-7890.
Please join me in honoring Doug today with a financial contribution.
Sincerely,
Karen McNall
