AGE: 33 at the time of the crime
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Sheldon, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July, 7, 2005 shortly after 12:00pm Kenneth Jerome  08-28-1971 was discovered deceased behind a barn located at 4692 East Sheldon Road (approximately a mile west of Duffy Hill Road) in the town of Sheldon. Jerome worked at the Magnan Farm at this location and was in the process of feeding calves when he died. Investigation showed that Jerome was the victim of a homicide. While engaged in his work Jerome was shot and killed.
As present this case still remains open. Numerous leads have been investigated over the years and those responsible have yet to be identified. Vermont State Police are asking anyone with any information to contact the State Police in Saint Albans 524-5993 or Champlain Valley Crime Stoppers 1-800-427-8477. Information may be left anonymously.   A reward of up to $5,000.00 is being offered to anyone whose information leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
