The McGue Family lived in what later became The Rowell House located on the corner of School and Main Street:

Marguerite (Peggy) McGue Chambers, a resident of Piney Point Village, for the past 43 years, died on Saturday, the 13th of July 2013.
Peggy was born on the 9th of May 1934, in Burlington, Vermont to Ralph S. and Harriet McGue. She was raised in Fairfax, Vermont and attended grade school and high school at the Bellows Academy.
She attended college at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, and upon graduation, joined New England Telephone and Telegraph Company as a service representative. After marriage, she transferred to New York Telephone and Telegraph Company in New York City.

Peggy resigned from New York Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1958, to become a full time mother and housewife. She was active with Sea Ranch Associates, Inc., for over 30 years and served as a Director and President for many years. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Community since 1970, and enjoyed participating in the activities of her neighborhood Tynewood Garden and Social Club since 1971. In 1979, she and her husband built a beach house in Taramar Beach, Galveston Island, and spent many happy weeks and weekends with family and friends enjoying the sand and sea.

Peggy married Harry W. Chambers, of Somers New York, on the 27th of April 1957, who survives her along with their three children, Harry C. Chambers, Kathleen Mattina, and John Chambers all of Houston; her grandchildren, Harry R. Chambers, George Chambers, Robert Chambers, Kathleen Mattina, Melinda Mattina, Andrew Chambers, Thomas Chambers, and James Chambers; her sisters, Mary Rowell and Kathleen Bott; her daughters-in-law, Laura Chambers and Michelle Chambers; and her son-in-law, Michael Mattina.

Her interests, talents and loves were numerous including playing the piano, singing, growing flowers, restoring antique furniture and playing poker.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock this afternoon until half-past seven o'clock this evening, Wednesday, the 17th of July, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the Vigil for the Deceased is to commence at half-past six o'clock.

The Mass of Christian Burial is to be offered at half-past ten o'clock in the morning on Thursday, the 18th of July, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Drive in Houston. All are invited to greet the family during a reception at a venue to be announced during the service.

The Rite of Committal is to follow, via an escorted cortege, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.
