Missing 22 Year Old Girl in Vermont

MISSING PERSON PRESS RELEASE

Person missing:  Jenny L Kobbs  22 years old
                                  Rochester VT

Narrative:
On 09-20-13 Jenny Kobbs left her parents residence on Little Hollow Road in Rochester and went to a neighbor's house.  After talking to the neighbor she left on foot and she has not been seen or heard from since.  She was last seen on Riford Brook Road in Braintree.

Kobbs is described as:

5' 7''
115lbs
Brown long hair
Hazel Eyes
Fair complexion.

Last seen wearing a Black Sweatshirt, blue jeans and pink and black sneakers.

Members of the Vermont State Police Search and Rescue Team, VSP K-9s and members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are now actively looking for her.  In addition, members of the Randolph Fire Department are assisting Search and Rescue with the search of the area.  If anyone has information on the location of Kobbs they are urged to call the Vermont State Police at 802-234-9933.

Jenny Kobbs Located, Alive in Braintree

Rochester, VT - 09/22/13 - Today the Vermont State Police were contacted regarding Jenny Kobbs, age 22 of Rochester, who reportedly walked out of the woods on Laroque Road, which is just off of Riford Brook Road in Braintree, near the same place she was last seen. Troopers and an ambulance responded immediately to the area. Kobbs was medically screened by White River Ambulance, but refused further medical treatment. She is now at the Royalton Barracks for additional screening to ensure Kobbs receives any necessary help.

Detectives with the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation will continue to investigate this case.

Kobbs was originally reported missing on September 20, and was last seen at 1:30AM that same day on Riford Brook Road in Braintree.

Vermont State Police appreciate the help from New England K-9, Rochester Fire Department, Upper Valley Wilderness Search and Rescue Team, Randolph Fire Department, the Vermont Fish and Game, and the Randolph community in searching for Kobbs.
