Hi, gang. Me again. Thrilling, ain't it? :)

Today, I have the ultimate proof that I am a dork. I've included a photo of me standing next to publicity materials for my next book reading/signing.

Anyway, I will read from and sign copies of my books, "Good Junk" and "dork. - another look at my junk," on Thursday, June 28, at the South Burlington (VT) Barnes & Noble. This free event begins at 7 p.m.

The books, published by Plaidswede Publishing, of Concord, N.H., are collections of my award-winning humor columns from the St. Albans Messenger and Chronicle-Independent, of Camden, S.C.

Note: B&N invited me to this store. I've had many events at smaller outlets, but this is my first with a major, national bookseller -- a big deal for me.

Would love if you could come, and bring friends. And please -- pass this on.

Thanks, and be well...
Leon Thompson

Note:  Leon has done a number of articles in the St. Albans Messenger about Fairfax.  He and Stina Plant came up to Fairfax a couple of years ago on the last day of January and did a story on Bob Ovitt's sugaring operation.
