I was hoping with last summers rebuild of the Southern half of RT128 someone would have thought to raise the road enough to prevent closing by typical flooding....was I expecting too much?

I imagine they were going more for a roller coaster with a nice splash in the middle.

When I went through this morning only one lane was closed.  There was clear evidence the flood had washed over 128 in two places near Pettingill Road.
Traffic also diverted by Essex elementary school.

Regarding the fail, I am more worried about that newly repaved part seemed to be heaving again a few weeks ago.
Hopefully it will not be all cracked up in a few years!

Happy Springtime  :)

Joe
