ALLEN FRANCIS PHILLIPS (CLEM)
December 11, 1959 - April 15, 2014Westford - Allen Francis Phillips, (Clem), 54 passed away on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. He was born in St. Albans on December 11, 1959 to William & Frena (Webb) Phillips.
Allen graduated from BFA, Fairfax, Class of 1978. He was employed delivering office supplies until he retired due to health problems. Allen lived in California in the early 80's. Through the years he managed to travel to all 50 states. Always returning to Vermont where he enjoyed many trips with his nieces and nephews. He loved super bowl parties with his friends and hiding Easter eggs for his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his mother Frena Phillips; two brothers Charles Phillips and his spouse France; Scot Phillips and his spouse Kimberlee, all of Westford; seven nieces and nephews: Jeremy and his spouse, Jessica, Todd and his spouse Lindsay, Shane, Krystle, Megan, Jennifer and her spouse Eric Harper, William Phillips and companion Erin Coon and two great nephews Grayson and Owen, his cat “Gus” and cousins Arthur and Margaret Webb. He was predeceased by his father William K Phillips in May 2012.
Visiting hours will be held Monday April 21, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main St. Fairfax, VT 05454. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Church of Fairfax with Reverend Katherine Arthaud and Reverend Elizabeth Griffin officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family in the family lot in Pleasant View Cemetery in Westford.
