Volunteers & Pick-up trucks needed for Lamoille River Clean-up

A clean-up of the Lamoille River in Farifax is scheduled to happen this coming Sunday July 22nd at 2pm.  The river certainly swelled up after the rains last week, but we are counting on the level dropping back down to allow us access to all the junk.  David Shea has generously agreed to provide us with a metal recycling dumpster. 
We are still looking for volunteers to wade the river and help us remove the tires, bikes, car pieces and parts, etc.  This won't be easy work, but the rewards will be huge.  Not only will the river be cleaner and safer, but you will meet new people, all the while supporting our great little community.
We are also going to need a couple of pick-up trucks to help transport the junk out of the park.
