Essex Junction, Vermont - July 20, 2007

A group of Vermonters will be taking the field at Fenway on Sunday. They're not playing baseball... they'll be singing the national anthem. Sunday is Vermont Day at the ballpark.

The group is called "Men at First" -- a name they say has nothing to do with baseball. But many of the 26 singers said they are die-hard Red Sox fans and never even dreamed of singing at Fenway.

"We've had a lot of fun occasions, singing for the Lake Monsters, Mountaineers, but this is probably the biggest two minutes we will ever have experienced," says Chorus Director Bill Bickford.

The group says a girl from Springfield will be singing "God Bless America." The game is Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
