Westford Man Suffers Medical Event In The Woods

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 11/8/2014 Johnson Fire Dept., Northern EMS and local first responders were called to a report of a male having a medical event in a wooded area off of Smithville Rd., Waterville.   After reaching the patient, crews contacted the Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team (DHART) helicopter.

The helicopter crew initially used the Waterville Elementary School as a landing zone, however another location closer to the scene was deemed safe.

The patient was subsequently transported by helicopter to Fletcher Allen Medical Center.    State Police assisted in the investigation.
