BFA Fairfax student recognized by Senator Leahy 
Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) Saturday recognized Matthew Larose for his nomination to the US Military Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy and U.S. Naval Academy. Larose was nominated by Leahy and Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). He is a student at Bellows Free Academy. Leahy and Welch Saturday recognized Larose and 23 other young Vermonters who were nominated to United States Service Academies' Class of 2019. At the annual reception, hosted by "Leahy in the Cedar Creek Room of the Vermont State House, nominees from across Vermont received nomination certificates signed by the member of the Vermont Congressional Delegation who nominated them to the Service Academy,
