Bosley was 37 years old when he was reported missing to the Burlington Police Department, after he left Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington against the advise of medical staff.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On December 2, 2015 a passerby contacted the State Police Barracks in Williston regarding possibly locating skeletal remains along the southbound off ramp. The passerby took photographs of the remains to show Troopers upon their arrival. State Police Troopers arrived on scene and positively identified the remains as human skeletal remains. Detectives also responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. Detectives determined based on the condition of the remains that they had been in the area for a number of years. The remains were collected and transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for examination and for possible identification. State Police detectives are currently working with Colchester and other  area municipal police departments for identification of the remains. This investigation remains ongoing.
