INJURIES - Fatality

SUMMARY OF CRASH: 
 

On 12/05/15 at approximately 0820 hours, VSP was notified of a single vehicle ATV crash near the intersection of Russel Rd and Comette Rd in the Town of Fairfax.  The ATV was travelling east when the ATV went off of the eastern side of the road where the operator, Walter Morgan, 47 from Fairfield, VT was ejected.  Morgan, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained head injuries at the scene and was transported to North West Regional Medical Center.  Fairfax Recue attempted CPR and life saving measures while enroute to the Emergency Room where Morgan was pronounced deceased.  Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be contributing factors.  The crash is still under investigation and there is no further information at this time.
