SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 05/28/16 at approximately 18:40 hours Vermont State Police-Williston barracks, was called to respond to a report of a missing 11 year old child from 1458 Old State Rd. in Westford, VT. The parents of the missing boy reported that he had been playing in the woods behind the residence and was overdue returning home for dinner. He had been overdue by approximately 45 minutes.
Troopers responded as well as members of the Westford Fire Department. A search of the area was initiated. The child was located approximately 1 hour later by an off duty Colchester Police Officer who happened to be in the area at the time. The child was found walking on Old Stage Rd. near his residence. He was in good spirits and good health
