Matt Gillilan and assistant have been working feverishly trying to find the drain exit leading from St. Luke's Church past the new Rectory. I spoke to him yesterday a little before noon, they had not yet found where the water was crossing the road. It is my understanding that the drainage pipe is plugged. He was at the spot where the underground electrical was headed towards the rectory. Hopefully he has better luck today.
Brings to mind how important it is to have a survey include this drainage in these plans. The church was built in 1964 and I think at that time the drainage went towards route 104. The waste treatment plant was built after that. The new Rectory was built in 1995 and I suspect must be hooked into the town Sewerage system and the drainage around the building they understand is connected into the same drainage as the church.
